vintage 70s Alpine Designs leather/nylon internal frame backpack Made in USA

Description

Up for sale is a vintage 1970s Alpine Designs backpack in bright red nylon, made in Boulder, Colorado. It is used, but it's in very good condition and there's lots and lots of life left in it.
The bottom of the back is leather, as are all of the straps and various other details. The condition of the leather is amazing, and still completely soft and supple, while there are light cosmetic marks. All of the zippers are YKK and all are in perfect working order. All of the clips and buckles are original and are in perfect working order.
The pack has an internal aluminum frame, and there are four compartments: the main large one, a medium sized one attached to the top that runs  about 3/4 the length of the pack, and then two side compartments which are perfect for water and are actually detachable if desired. The main compartment closes via drawstring toggle and is in perfect working order with all original parts. There are small marks and stains here and there appropriate to use, but they are no larger or more noticeable stains. There are no rips in the pack.
