    Next up is this absolutely beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Howard Hawks' classic western drama,
    The Outlaw
    . Although this film is primarily about the life of Billy The Kid as portrayed by Jack Buetel, it is co-star Jane Russell who will always be remembered for her breakthrough role as curvaceous Rio McDonald.  This film is notable for the controversy it caused in Hollywood and beyond prompting producer Hughes to pull the movie from theaters for three years. Filmed in 1941 and released for one week in 1943,
    The Outlaw
    didn't get a wide release until 1946 all because of Miss Russell's ample cleavage. This poster is believed to be from the 1st release of the film in Belgium after the end of WWII. It probably dates from 1947 or 1948. It doesn't come up for sale or auction very often and features probably the best poster art image of Jane Russell. The last time it came up for auction it realized a much higher price that the Buy-It-Now listed here.
