    Next up is this rare Belgian movie poster from the original 1940's release of the Universal mystery/comedy starring Basil Rathbone, Bela Lugosi, Hugh Herbert, Broderick Crawford, Alan Ladd  and Gale Sondergaard. This film is not to be confused with the 1934 movie of the same name that starred Lugosi and Karloff.

    his poster is in good condition after more than 70 years and the artwork is very nice and completely intact. Original Belgian artwork unique to this poster. Although this movie was produced by Universal Pictures in 1941, this poster was probably printed for the first Belgian release of this film sometime after 1946. It contains the original Universal-International logo which didn't exist prior to 1947.  Please look at all condition issues in the photos.

    CONDITION:  Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border with snipe attached advertising the French language title of the film. A small brownish stain near English title. Small chunks of paper loss in 3 places around white borders (does not affect the artwork). A couple of small tears in borders. Tax stamp attached. Multiple folds but has been stored flat for the past 8 years. This poster will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
