Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Cecil B DeMille's biblical romance,
Samson And Delilah

Upon its release the film was praised for its Technicolor cinematography
, lead performances, costumes, sets, and innovative special effects.
This poster is from the first release of the movie in Belgium. There were later re-releases of this epic film in the Fifties and Seventies employing posters with different artwork. Rest assured that this is the rarer original release Belgian poster.
The artwork is stunning and the poster is in very nice condition after more than 70 years. It is quite rare and seldom comes up for sale or auction.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14" x 18.25"
CONDITION:
Good to Very Good Trimmed condition. Top white border has been partially trimmed. Remnants of a theatre snipe that was once attached to top border leaving some ripple marks were the glue moistened the paper.  A couple pinholes in bottom border. Three areas where tax stamps were affixed in the side borders, not affecting the artwork. One deep vertical fold in upper half of poster. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 22 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
