Description
3D Printed PETG Rear Sight for Crvena Zastava M70 (7.65/.32 ACP) Pistol. Perfect if yours came with no rear sight or one of those wacky tall "sporter" sights. Condition is new, color is black, and the material is PETG plastic. See photos for more details. While we've done our best to spec these as close as possible, due to variation between pistols and 3D print runs, some minor fitment finishing work (filing/sanding) may be required upon arrival to make it fit in your particular pistol. In light of this, each order of 1 will receive two of these sights. An order of 2 would receive four and so on. With this, you don't have to come back to us if you mess one up by, for example, filing/sanding too much material off. In our particular example, no filing/sanding was necessary, it was just a snug fit that required some taps with a hammer and punch to knock it into place.
FAQs and Other Useful Information:
I have some sort of question or concern with my order.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me! Every eBay seller says this but I'm truly willing to help you out in a way that is beneficial for both of us. If you simply say nothing and just leave a neutral or negative review for some reason then you've (in my opinion) falsely misjudged my product and/or willingness to help you and at that point you've honestly taken away some of the incentive for me to help you. Help me to help you and we can all go forward satisfied!
What's up with the people saying in the feedback it didn't fit theirs?
Firstly,
as of the beginning of April 2021
the design for the dovetail base has been slightly modified to reduce the risk of it being too narrow in a given application based on feedback and input from buyers. As discussed above, there is some variability in each application. Any buyers who reached out to me had their issues resolved quickly and in such a way that both sides came out happy.
Oh no I messed up the plastic on my sight(s)!
Not to worry! These sights are made from 3D Printed PETG plastic. Precision modifications can be made by remelting the plastic using a soldering iron. If you have a temperature adjustable unit, the printing temperature is about 240 degrees Celsius. I recommend you don't do any remelting unless you absolutely have to for some reason. The sights print with a fine layer height (0.12 mm) and any melting will eliminate the cosmetic appearance of these layer lines.
Is the sight accurate?
Based on buyer feedback and personal experience, the answer is yes. Keep in mind these are on a pistol and so the true accuracy is really determined by the shooter and their form. The design style of the sight is inspired by the rear sight of a SIG Sauer SP2022.
The item shows as shipped, but the tracking shows no updates or hasn't been updated in a while?
The short answer to this is do your best to get in touch with USPS because I probably know as much as you do. I typically ship within the same or next business day, and the packages are always dropped off within 24 hours of the purchase of the label (except on weekends/holidays of course). The USPS seems to have become increasingly inconsistent with whether or not they actually scan the tracking labels. Many customers still get tracking updates at every step, but I have also had ones that are more sparse, to the point where it doesn't get scanned at all until its been delivered to the final destination. I have no control over this, and, while unlikely, should this happen to you, just know I am equally as frustrated in the drastic decline in USPS service quality over the past year as you likely are.
If USPS is so inconsistent, why don't you use UPS or FedEx?
This becomes a matter of what makes sense from a pricing standpoint. These sights weigh essentially nothing, and I could even just ship them with postage stamps if I wanted to. But in an effort to prevent buyers from saying they never receive them and me not being able to prove otherwise, I am paying a 600-700% premium over stamps for the cheapest option with tracking (USPS First Class). If I had to go with a FedEx or UPS option that didn't rely on the USPS in some way (like FedEx SmartPost and UPS SurePost do), I would have to charge probably at least just for shipping if not even more.
Once again, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me! Thanks for looking.
