  • Condition: Very Good Untrimmed condition. Theater exhibition snipe is affixed to the upper white border which is still intact. Remnants of three glue marks are apparent through the snipe. Printed on the back of a map. Tax stamp affixed near lower right of artwork. Overall yellowing to the paper. Entire poster is attached to a sheet of white card paper with glue by the top portion of the snipe. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 22 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of Derwin Abrahams' action romance,
    Northwest Trail
    . Billed as "a sensational exciting story of murder and crime in the Canadian northwest and the brave men who always get their man", this movie was actually shot on location in California in Cinecolor. This poster is from the first release of the movie in Belgium soon after the end of WWII, probably 1946 or early 1947 since it is printed on the back of an ordnance map.
    It is also printed in the smaller immediate post-war format which was done to conserve paper. The striking  artwork is unique to the Belgian release poster which seldom comes up for sale or auction.

    CONDITION:
