Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of King Vidor's film adaptation of the Kenneth Roberts novel
Northwest Passage
. This film tells the story of two friends who join Rogers' Rangers as the legendary elite force engages the enemy during the French and Indian War. The movie focuses on their famous raid on Fort St. Francis and their marches before and after the battle. This  poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium shortly after the end of the war in Europe, probably 1947 or 1948. It features beautiful artwork of Tracy, Young and Hussey that is unique to this Belgian release poster. It seldom comes up for sale or auction, especially in such great condition. Another prime example of outstanding Belgian movie poster art.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium  14.5" x 22"
CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. There is a soft diagonal fold that is slightly noticeable in the top white right border, but it does not appear in the artwork area. Slightest of yellowing of paper.  Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Originally folded in half as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 14 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
