We refurbish Steelcase Leap V2 chairs professionally. The other arm cap replacements on ebay are rock hard and offer no cushion at all. Ours are softer and not as hard on both the arms and especially the elbows. If your arm pads have become “bubbly” you have the older version which is vinyl wrapped over foam (see pics). The vinyl looses its tension over the foam over time and pops up which causes the "bubble" feeling. This is their newer 100% foam version that doesn't bubble up over time, providing comfort that lasts. *Note: this new version is not as soft as the older vinyl style since there is less than half the amount of foam. A Small Point to Note: Installation is quick & easy, it only takes 4 T20 torx screws per arm pad. Since the arm pad has a bit of curvature, it can be further exacerbated if you fully tighten both the screws on one side before the other, so when inserting the screws in the arm pad, position the screws towards the outside corners of the arm pads (see pics). Normally you would insert the screws straight upwards into the holes in the arm pad; instead angle the front screws towards the front two corners of the arm pad and the back screws towards the back corners of the arm pad. It's a very minor workaround which only happens to some if both screws are fully tightened on one side before the other two are inserted.
