This is #2404 “Sophistication” in the fabulous Nancy Ann Style show series.
The doll is in excellent condition with embellished blush that has been sealed. Bright golden red wig is in a double chignon at he back and curled bangs. She is tightly strung.
The dress has been copied from the original thqt was faded and torn. The dress is made from vintage taffeta and the long skirt is more than 100” in circumference! Original lavish lace trims the skirt and is her bolero jacket over the heart shaped neckline. The lace is slightly worn on the bolero and seamed from wear in the front pleat also. Slight defects occur in fabrics this age.
The flowers have been replaced with similar.
The hoop half slip and hose have been replaced but the panties and shoes are original.
