Here is a rare and beautiful original Belgian movie poster for the 1st release of the Paramount's full length animated feature,
Mr. Bug Goes To Town
. This ambitious project from the Max Fleischer Studios, who had a large success with
Gulliver's Travels
two years earlier, turned out to be a box office failure despite musical numbers by Hoagy Carmichael and Frank Loesser. This poster is from the film's original Belgian release after the end of the war in Europe, probably 1947. It does have a few condition issues but the artwork area is intact. It rarely, if ever, comes up for sale or auction and would be a fine addition to your early animated features movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 18"
CONDITION:
Good Trimmed Condition. Partially trimmed top white border. A few pinholes, bumps and tears in the surrounding borders. A 4 inch tear in the center artwork near girl's legs (see last photo). A fair degree of yellowing to the paper. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for 24 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
