Here is a very rare and interesting original Belgian release poster for the 7th film in Universal Pictures' Frankenstein cycle,
The
House Of Dracula
. With a screenplay by Edward T. Lowe, this  movie is a direct sequel to
The House Of Frankenstein
from the previous year. Once again Universal staged a "monster rally" bringing together three of the studio's biggest named monsters (the Frankenstein monster, Count Dracula, the Wolf Man) and threw in a mad scientist and his hunchbacked assistant (this time, a young woman). This poster is from the film's original Belgian release shortly after the end of the war in Europe. It probably dates from 1947 since it bares the Universal-International logo which came into existence in mid 1946. The poster is linenbacked and in excellent condition after nearly 75 years. The artwork is unique to this Belgian release and this poster seldom comes up for sale or auction. This would be a great addition to your Universal Horror movie poster collection.

CONDITION:
Very Good On Linen. Top white border may have been partially trimmed. Prior to backing this poster was in very good, folded condition. There is an overall yellowing of the paper. This poster has been stored flat for the past 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
