Next up is this rare and beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first release of George Steven's classic action adventure epic,
Gunga Din
. Starring Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and Sam Jaffe this was one of the biggest hits of 1939, a watershed year in cinematic history.  From the best I can tell, this poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium. It was most likely released shortly after the war in Europe (1946 or 1947) since in is printed in the smaller post-war format to conserve paper. I have only seen an example of this poster come up for auction twice in the past and have never seen it in any other Belgian format. It is truly in amazing condition for its age and has no defects except the usual paper yellowing. It almost never comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to anyone's classic movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  11" x 16"
CONDITION: Very Good Condition. Slightest overall yellowing of paper. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for over 23 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
