From what we understand, they were sold as a fund-raiser at Canada Trust bank locations across the country. Each poster is an artist's collage of key players from the six competing nations: Canada (Lafleur, Cheevers, Sittler, Esposito, Hull, Clarke); Finland (Makkonen, Ketola, Tamminen, Riihiranta); USSR (Tretiak, Mikhailov, Yakushev, Liapkin, Romishevski, Starshinov); Sweden (Hedberg, Nilsson, Lindstrom, Hammarstrom, Sjoberg); USA (Nanne, Ftorek, Bennett, Patrick, Nyrop); and Czechoslovakia (Holik, Novy, Martinec, Stastny). These are both brilliant works of hockey art, and historical classics that you have to see to be believed!
