    Description

    Broken
    Hardinge HDC heavy duty lathe live center with Morse #2 shank.  The center spins but is a little rough and a little loose/wobbly.
    NEEDS REPAIR
    .  May need new bearings.  From what I've read online, it may be salvageable by removing the bearings, cleaning them, and putting them back in in reverse.  I made a spanner to remove the bearing lock nut and will include it (see last photo).  No guarantees the spanner will work for long, as it was a "quick and dirty" project.  I removed the lock nut but it was not obvious how to remove the bearings, so I just reassembled it.  If I can get out of it was I need to, I will just sell it here.
