Here is an Aussie daybill movie poster from the original release of the Mark Robson's thriller film,
Bedlam
. This was the last in a series of stylish B horror films produced by the Val Lewton unit at RKO in the 1940s. It was inspired by a series of paintings called A Rake's Progress by William Holgarth. The film starred Boris Karloff as the corrupt and evil head of a London asylum for the insane during the 18th Century. This poster is from the original release of the film in Australian in 1946 or shortly thereafter. It feature beautiful artwork and is in very good condition on linen. This title seldom comes up for sale or auction and will make a great addition to your classic horror movie poster collection. A similar poster for Lewton's
The Body Snatcher
also starring Karloff recently sold for over ,400 at auction.

CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Condition On Linen.  Prior to linenbacking this poster was folded as originally issued and had a small smudge in the upper left corner. This poster has been stored rolled for the past 10 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
