This a used backpack, but still in very good, structurally-sound condition.  I am the second owner of this backpack.  The original owner purchased it in 1998; he  was a U.S. soldier and he put his name in two different places in permanent ink (as service members tend to do)  He trekked regularly in Europe. I have crossed the name out, thus the reduced price.  It is still a very good backpack   It has been well-maintained and is still a very serviceable piece of equipment.  The buckles, snaps and zippers are all in very good working condition...no fraying or rust.  Large storage capacity and looking forward to many new adventures.
