The plaque is made of stamped, die-cut sheet tin that has been painted black and gold with a blank space for a dedication. Coffin hardware like this was most associated with the late
Victorian Era.
Stamped to depict a bouquet of flowers, with snowdrops over a rose, both highlighted with gold.
Some minor paint flaking, and a small, light scrape along one of the edges which is shown clearly in the photos
Measures 9.75 inches by 6.75 inches.
